The Concept2 SkiErg brings the sport of Nordic skiing within everyone's reach. Nordic skiing builds strength and endurance and works the legs as well as the arms and heart.
The SkiErg uses the same air resistance and is based on the same mechanisms and electronic monitoring systems as the Concept2 Indoor Rower, the proven choice of rowers around the world since 1982, so you can be sure the machine is built to last. As well as being tough and well built, the SkiErg is also sophisticated, with an advanced monitor that provides immediate, accurate performance data.
Whether you're an elite cross-country skier looking to improve your pulling power, a weekend enthusiast keen to get in shape for ski season or simply someone looking for a great workout, the SkiErg will help you reach your goals.
PERFORMANCE MONITOR:
The Performance Monitor is what sets the Concept2 SkiErg apart from other cross-country training devices: sophisticated yet easy to use, it lets you accurately assess your work, track your progress and compare your scores with others. Every SkiErg comes with our most advanced Performance Monitor, the PM5.
PLATFORM OR WALL-MOUNTED:
The SkiErg can be wall-mounted or used with a floor platform. Wall mounting is the most compact option, while the platform, with its non-slip swivel wheels, offers an all-in-one solution that makes the SkiErg mobile. Either way, the SkiErg is easy to assemble and comes with all the tools you need.
HEAVY-DUTY PULL ROPES:
The SkiErg drive system is based on high-strength cords. Much stronger than steel, the cords are also extremely light, resulting in a responsive, smooth system.
FAN WHEEL AND AIR ADJUSTMENT:
The SkiErg responds to your effort on every pull, so you have full control of your effort and resistance at all times. The spiral damper lets you quickly adjust the airflow to the fan, so you can change the feel of the pull to suit your preferences. Whether you want to feel like you're training on flat ground or uphill, the SkiErg will meet all your needs.
ERGONOMIC STRAPLESS HANDLES:
The SkiErg's ergonomic strapless handles provide a comfortable, secure grip.
STURDY, EASY-MAINTENANCE CONSTRUCTION:
Our machines are well known for their durability and build. Tough and built to last, our SkiErg is made to withstand heavy use in Nordic skiing centres, homes, gyms and military bases around the world. We're confident our machines are easy to maintain, so you can focus on using it, not maintaining it.
